Located in a semi-rural area of East Suffolk this contemporary new build was designed with the intention to make visual references to the scale and material of existing nearby buildings and structures. These include a Grade 2 Listed farmhouse and associated barns, which are also linear in form and footprint.
The external walls are constructed of a wire-cut facing brick and coloured mortar, external self-coloured render faces the long side facades and the roof has a standing-seam sheet metal finish. There are also timber features including a pergola, roof trims and a carport, all of which create a warm texture against the crisp and modern design of this contemporary house.
